phantom stranger...

here's another canson piece i realized i haven't posted here...
or in my sorely neglected canson gallery on the site... with any luck, i'll get around to that big gallery update real soon...
(and the fan art of the 'haps site should get an update soon, too... fyi)
besides the new project i'm working on, i'm getting through a buncha commissions, so i should have plenty to post here for a while, anyway...
and speaking of posting, todd's gonna be showing off some of the sweet pin-ups we've been getting in for the second trade paperback soon, so check out the perhapablog over the next few weeks (if you don't already)...

and wow, how 'bout them pats this weekend? any other team, i'd say it was dumb luck... but come on, they've been doing this stuff for seasons now...

first 2 hours of 24... darn fine (albeit illogical and improbable) television!

back to work!

Sweet music to my ears! There's still hope I will have my book back before the NYC show...

Anyway, I watched 24 for basically the first time yesterday, and it was quite fun (I actually watched the last episode last season, too). Very over-the-top, a bit of a slow build-up, but I expect tonight to really kick it into gear. And, as I posted on some other message board, the Chargers could learn a thing or two from that kick at the end of 24 last night! Helluva game, helluva premiere!

Now I just need to juggle 24 and Heroes starting next week...

No 24 pt. 2 for me... Even if my generator hadn't crapped out on me half way through the day, the cable was out anyway... Now I need to watch it online somewhere, I guess, but that's no fun.

Sweet Phantom Craig and Yeah Baby, Go Pats.

Guys like Tom, Troy and Teddy just find a way to win.

As for the sour grapes coming out of San Diego, hey, let 'em talk. I remember around here last year how we all talked about the Pat's "giving away" the Denver came. So if that's what it takes for them to get through till next season, its ok by me.

However, as for Mr. LT, when you are on a team where one of your leading players not only has a choreographed sack dance which he has named - Lights Out - but also has that name shaved into his hair do for the game, YOU are not allowed to question the CLASS of the other guys.

On to Indy and then, if that ball keeps bouncing the Pats way, Miami baby.

Personally, I hate that he's called "LT"... who gets to decide which person in the NFL with those initials gets to be the "new" LT officially? It's crazy and more than a bit rude to reuse classic nicknames like that. In fact, I go so far as to say it's classless. :P

Nobody worry about me anymore. I picked up the DVD at Wal-Mart with all 4 episodes on it. I was going to just download them off iTunes, but this was less than $9 and is widescreen, plus it comes with a $10 off coupon for any season set. And I'd already read all of the spoilers Rich mentions anyway...

phew, that was a close one, bill... enjoy two of the most ridiculously unbelievable, yet thoroughly engrossing hours of tv...

and yeah, talk about sour grapes indeed. (granted, i do find all the celebratory dances, shuffles, spasms, choreographed moves in the nfl are incredibly annoying -and overused ("wooohoo! i stopped him for only a 5 yard gain! time to bust a move!") - at this point, but the complaining just seemed petty)

Watched them this evening. That was fun. Did I mention that the DVD also has the first 12 minutes of the next episode? More unbelievable Jack Bauer heroics, this time with a scene right out of Superman: The Movie. "You've got me? Who's got you!?!" Ha-ha-ha...
