2008 already?!

wow, that was quick... better start posting for the new year, eh?

okay, so as i'm sure y'all know, i've been hard at work on both the haps (launching in feb from image) as well as the x-men first class issue for marvel (looks like it's gonna be #10, even though that's not my name in the previews)...

get ready for another onlsaught of interviews and ads, etc for the haps at image... so i guess we can't comlain that nobody's gonna know about it! (and we're getting more choopie buttcards made for shows, as well as looking into merchandise ... and the new website's well underway.. so it's all haps in '08!)

tv's been mercifully slow (can't get too distracted with all this work), but i have managed to watch a few movies on dvd (harry potter and the simpsons) getting caught up on my audiobooks (about a third of the way through "harry potter and the order of the phoenix"... then onto world war z, recommended by my pal. kelly)

haven't had much time to do many commissions or whatnot with the holidays and workload... but i figure i gotta post somthing.. so here's the colored version of the cover to haps #1 (out in april)...

alrighty!

Love the coloring on the cover Craig.

So, looks like it's the Pats vs. the Jags next Saturday night. Current weather forecast calling for dry and not too cold, so the Patriots passing game should be present and accounted for. Absent really bad weather, I just don't think the Jags can keep up with the Pats on the scoreboard also, and this is just a hunch, I get the feeling that the Pats have been hiding in the weeds a bit toward the end of the season and that their best football remains to be played.

Go Pats!

P.S. Which, no surprise, is what the two Patriots Cheerleaders who I met at "World of Wheels" today said to me.

Craig, welcome to 2008!

Anyway, my wife loved her birthday present. Thanks for another great commission.

And I like what you've done with the cover to #1. April seems so far away. Hopefully you have it in time for the big show.

Oh man that cover is AWESOME!! Thanks for posting it, however is it too much to just get the issue done now so that we can have it? Pretty please? With a cherry on top? haha

Looking foward to this man! You're work just keeps getting better(although that's the way it's supposed to be right?)

Beautiful cover! Can't wait for this.

So I'm going to go on record and predict a Superbowl rematch this year. Your Patriots vs. my Packers. Not so sure it'll be the same outcome this time, though.

Man, and I thought just the b/w cover was awesome...el-butt-o-kick-a-nif-ico!
I'm struggling through The Zombie Survivor's Guide before I pick up World War Z...don't get me wrong, it's a very clever read about the subject, but it is a manual...might skip the rest to pound out World War Z...can't be too bad, I knew how to hook up the DVD player with out reading its instructions...how hard could it be to kill a zombie?
