wild thing!

so, here's the first of 3 commissions i did this weekend, trying to get back into a groove (need to finish those last pages of 'haps 6 so y'all can see leanne and jason's stories)...

again, not a character i'm familiar with, but fun to do (guess she's wolverine's daughter in the spider-girl continuity)...

so, 24 is having a great season of "wow, this is totally unbelievable... but i can't WAIT to see what happens next" action, the clock is ticking down on battlestar galactica (and wow, they've got a lot of balls in motion in the homestretch), lost is at a creative high point these days (the show's mythology keeps getting more interesting... i've read a few theories that, if true, are very interesting indeed), friday night lights is just damn good drama... and castle was fun, if not breaking new ground (nathan fillion really made it worth watching)

back to work.

I love Nathan Fillion and the promos looked great. But while it was somewhat entertaining, I didn't find it exceptional so I won't be adding it to my schedule.
To each their own...

Bob, I hear that the second episode is much better than the pilot, so you might want to give Castle one more chance. I've got the first episode on the DVR, but haven't seen it yet.

Craig, could not agree with you more about Lost this year. They really have returned to Season One form.
Too bad there is no new episode this week.

nice work on this one. i really like the facial expression and the stance. not familiar with the character either....

i caught the first half of castle then passed out but it's on again on saturday night so i'll finish it then. haven't gotten to see lost since early the first season-i got behind and never got caught up. but will one day when the dvds get in my price range.

I absolutely agree on Castle. I've been a fan of Nathan Fillions since his debut on Buffy, then to Firefly, Slither, Waitress and Serenity. It looks like an enjoyable, talented support cast and I think Nathans co-star Stana Katic will be able to keep up with his bad-boy antics. One 2 hour episode of Galactica and it's going to come down to a fight. I've watched this show since day one and it's been a fantastic ride!
