october already?!

wow, so even after letting the 12 game lead slip, the sox ended the regular season on top of the a.l. east (and tied with the indians for the best record in baseball...!) strange stuff... should make for an interesting october.

and how 'bout them pats? wow.

and let's not forget the new fall tv season (enjoying chuck and reaper, haven't gotten to bionic woman on tivo yet ... heroes again seems to be falling back on old comic book cliches, but i'll keep watching... the office was pretty darn good - now with more creed and toby!)

work's been busy with lotsa fun stuff that i can't quite talk about yet, but should have news to announce soon...!

unfortunately, had to cancel my appearance at the nashua, nh comic show in october due to family commitments, but i'm still planning on making it up to the boston show the following week ...

and now, another commission...

Byoo-tih-muss! The Creature is really hard to draw. You pulled it off great.

And the Pats won me 40 bucks!

Great creature commission.

In regard to the Sox, I think we have three proven big game pithcers on this team and I like our chances, especially in light of the injury problems that the Angels are dealing with. I'm hoping for a Cleveland vs. Sox ALCS, because I am getting a little tired of the way the national media deals with the Sox vs. Yanks.

As for the Patriots, I honestly think this is the best offense I have ever seen them have and those long sustained drives are making a great defense look even better than it did in those back to back 14 - 2 seasons and we know how those turned out.

Sorry you won't be making up to Nashua, but family comes first.

See you in Boston on the 21st.

Well, I see my Creature piece got you all worked up for this one. Mine is the original...but this also really rocks!! Beautiful.

BTW, did I mention I have Game 1 play-off tickets?

...and we won! A home run by Youk!! Another by Ortiz. It was a good day.

The homeruns were great, especially nice to see Youk get one right off the bat - no pun intended - but no question that was Beck's game.

The man takes it to another level come playoff time. Of his 6 post season starts, 3 are complete games and yesterday made it 18 consecutive post-season shut-out innings for him.
